Announcing the arrival of some new products at the Gift Shop – just in case you skipped it on our Retail icon! Ready…???

1. Vanilla pods Vanila planifolia

Thats right folks, we are the only location in Penang you can purchase vanilla pods at a steal of RM 30 for 50g and RM50 for 100g.

2. Spice -inspired stationary products

We realize most people do e-write these days but a good souvenir for keepsake is still a worthwhile item to keep or bring as a gift. A writing set of 6 emperor papers with matching envelopes bound up with a lovely tag. And to accompany this a block memo pad too! 6 different spices are featured with new excerpts of information never printed before on our garden grounds

3. Handmade batik bags

There’s loads of beautiful varieties to choose from – but we like it old-school so we’ve acquired some good old fashioned batik and have commissioned PeaBag to sew ‘em up. And they look gorgeous. Now who was saying they can’t find batik any mroe in Penang?

4. Japanese inspired ceramics

Quaint handmade Japanese styled green tea cups are now available! All designs made exclusively for the gardens with our flower logo or Chinese characters of Tropical Spice Garden encoded below

5. ARCH

Yes even this well established ‘heritage collection’ have seen the potential at our Gift Shop. Bookmarks, magnets, frames and notebooks – a small collection but it does the trick
