Tropical Spice Garden Cooking School

At Tropical Spice Garden, we love our spices. And we know them well too.

We know the fabulous diversity of flavour that spices bring to millions of kitchens around the world and we are proud to be part of this culinary story.

And so we now present to you, Tropical Spice Garden Cooking School!

After a culmination of years of talking about their medicinal properties and their potent therapeutic aromas and having flirted with cooking demos at the Cafe, Tropical Spice Garden is launching out with our new Cooking School to share the love of cooking and eating herbs and spices of all colours, shapes and forms.

We have flung open our kitchen doors to welcome a vast array of cooks and chefs who specialize in cuisine from all over the world.

Although the Cooking School will be Malaysian cuisine driven including one of the best Nyonya home cooks around, Pearly Kee, we are welcoming 'real' cooks -- straight out of the home kitchen, to come and share their passion and zeal of their culture and food using spices and herbs.

Professional cooks are welcome too of course!

Cooking at TSG Cooking School will guarantee a fully hands on experience where guests will prepare their meals from scratch, at their own workstations in small personalized classes. Guests of all abilities are welcome.

Learn how to cook traditional Malaysian dishes designed and taught in such a way that guests can bring a taste of authentic Malaysia home with them even in the middle of a cold winter! Although Malaysian cooking traditionally required heavy grinding stones and pounders, an electric blender can easily do the trick and still make it right.

Harvest fresh spices and herbs from our very own herb garden situated around the Cooking School.

TSG Cooking School is set in an airy building surrounded by our very own jungle garden sanctuary overlooking the Teluk Bahang bay.

Step into TSG Cooking School and allow the country-style kitchen feel to bring you back to the good ole' days of grandmas kitchen teeming away with activity and glorious smells!
